I specialize in chassis set-ups and tuning on all types of Pro Modified, Top Sportsman, and most other door slammers. Whether you race in NHRA, ADRL, IHRA, NMCA, PMRA, or any number of drag racing sanctioning bodies, I can likely find more efficiency in your chassis.  So if you run 3 seconds to the eighth mile or 10 seconds to the quarter mile or anywhere in between, your chassis needs to be correctly set up for maximum performance. I can maximize your current set up or help create a baseline set up for a new combination. Accurate measuring, digital Scaling, computer plotting, and my 10 years of chassis set up work and crew experience, will help you make the most of your drag car.

Mobile chassis set up, professional crew service and trackside-tuning services are also available, saving you the cost of transporting the car. I can typically set up a car just about anywhere. I use computer scales with leveling pads, computer plotting software and a proven chassis tuning methodology for accuracy and repeatability.

Why Do I Need My Chassis Tuned by MCT?

Have you have experienced the frustration of a car that won't leave straight, or hops like crazy, or just shakes like a paint shaker? Or maybe it won't make it through gear changes? Sometimes it ends up even worse for an ill handling racecar, like broken parts, unexpected brushes with the walls, not to mention the embarrassment, or worse.

Chances are, I will find that your coil springs are worn out or maybe your 4-link hiems are sloppy, or perhaps the shocks are junk.  Drag race car suspensions are a much more of a critical part of having a well-balanced, consistent racecar, especially in the highly competitive world of heads up outlaw racing. The racers who ignore their door cars most important parts, the chassis, have little chance to win. Let's face it; drag racers goals are to win!

Another reason you may need your pro mod or door slammer chassis’s set up by MCT is that you're into a new car, new class, or maybe have a new engine program. Now is the time to plot the 4-link, and get ride heights correctly established, scale the car for optimal corner weights and front /rear bias, shocks and struts settings for maximum launch efficiency and consistency pass after pass. Not to mention detail on the numerous other variables that all affect the launch of a high horsepower drag car.
